7-Day Return Policy

Last updated: 29 September 2026

We offer a 7-day return policy for eligible change-of-mind returns, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return or exchange.

This 7-day period applies to our voluntary change-of-mind policy only. Your rights in relation to faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise non-compliant products are protected separately under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and are not limited by this timeframe.

Change-of-Mind Returns & Exchanges

If you have ordered the incorrect size, colour or product, or have otherwise changed your mind, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

Change-of-mind returns and exchanges are subject to approval.

To be eligible, the item must be:

  • Unworn and unused

  • Unwashed

  • In its original condition

  • With all original tags attached

  • In its original packaging

  • In a resalable condition

You will also need to provide your receipt or other proof of purchase.

To request a return or exchange, contact us at info@manatwork.com.au before returning your item.

Approved returns must be sent to:

Man At Work
5/82 Makland Drive
Derrimut, VIC 3025
Melbourne, Australia

Please do not send items back without contacting us first. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

Shipping Costs for Change-of-Mind Returns

For approved change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for arranging and paying the cost of returning the item to us.

Once an order has been dispatched, any original shipping or delivery charge paid on the order is non-refundable for a change-of-mind return.

Where a refund is approved after dispatch, the original shipping charge may therefore be deducted from the total amount refunded.

For example, if an order total was $120 including a $15 delivery charge, an approved change-of-mind refund would be based on the eligible product value of $105, less any applicable restocking or handling fee.

If the order qualified for free shipping, we will not retrospectively deduct a standard outbound shipping charge unless this was clearly disclosed as a condition of the applicable offer or return before purchase.

For exchanges, customers are responsible for returning the original item and may also be required to pay the shipping cost for the replacement item before it is dispatched.

These shipping conditions apply to change-of-mind and customer ordering error returns only. They do not limit your rights where a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law.

Restocking & Handling Fees

Some change-of-mind returns or exchanges may be subject to a restocking or handling fee, depending on the product and supplier.

If a restocking or handling fee applies, we will advise you of the amount before approving the return or exchange.

For approved change-of-mind returns, the applicable restocking or handling fee may be deducted from the refund.

For approved exchanges, applicable restocking or handling fees and replacement delivery charges may be payable before the replacement item is processed or dispatched.

Restocking or handling fees will not be applied where doing so would restrict or reduce a customer's rights to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.

Customised & Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges for products that have been:

  • Customised or personalised

  • Embroidered

  • Printed

  • Altered

  • Specially ordered

  • Made to order

This includes change-of-mind returns or exchanges resulting from customer ordering errors relating to size, colour, quantity, artwork, decoration or other specifications approved or supplied by the customer.

Please carefully check all product sizes, colours, quantities, artwork and decoration details before placing or approving a customised order.

Sale items and gift cards are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.

These exclusions apply only to change-of-mind returns and do not exclude or restrict any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law if a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, not as described or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order after receiving it and contact us as soon as reasonably possible if you believe an item is:

  • Faulty or defective

  • Damaged

  • Incorrectly supplied

  • Not as described

  • Not fit for its stated or disclosed purpose

  • Otherwise not compliant with a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law

Contact us at info@manatwork.com.au with your order details and information about the issue so we can assess the product and determine the appropriate remedy.

Depending on the circumstances and the requirements of the Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy.

For products that can reasonably be posted or returned, you may initially be required to return the product to us for assessment.

If the product is confirmed to have a problem covered by the Australian Consumer Law, Man At Work will reimburse reasonable return postage or transportation costs incurred by you. Please retain your postage or transport receipt.

Where required by the Australian Consumer Law, applicable original delivery charges will also be included in the remedy and will not be treated as a non-refundable change-of-mind shipping charge.

If, after assessment, the product is found not to have a fault or other issue covered by the Australian Consumer Law, any collection, inspection or return costs may be payable by the customer where permitted by law and where the customer was advised of those costs beforehand.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect an eligible return, we will notify you of the outcome.

For an approved change-of-mind return, the refund will generally consist of the amount paid for the eligible returned products, less:

  • Any original shipping or delivery charges once the order has been dispatched; and

  • Any applicable restocking or handling fees disclosed before the return is approved.

Customers are also responsible for the cost of sending change-of-mind returns back to us.

These deductions do not apply where they would limit a remedy that you are entitled to under the Australian Consumer Law.

Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method.

Please allow up to 10 business days after we process your refund for it to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please contact us at info@manatwork.com.au.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this Returns & Refunds Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.

Our change-of-mind policy is provided in addition to your statutory consumer rights.

Where goods fail to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, compensation or another remedy depending on the circumstances and whether the failure is major or minor.

A major failure may entitle you to choose between a refund or replacement. For a minor failure, we may be entitled to provide a repair or otherwise remedy the problem within a reasonable time.

Your Australian Consumer Law rights are not limited to the 7-day change-of-mind period stated in this policy.
